 FOOD PANTRY

Our  parish Food pantry is available  to help those in need make ends meet or those who need food due to a family emergency or unexpected job loss. We also try to have personal hygiene products available. Imagine your life if you did not have toilet tissue, laundry soap, or shampoo to wash your hair!  Our pantry has been helping people that come in to our parish office seeking help.  If you would like to be at the pantry during the day so people can come in on a monthly basis, please contact me.

at the above email address or by calling the office.

Caregiver Burnout and Building a Care Team

August 16, 2017 - Wednesday  12-1:15 PM

Maplewood Community Center

31735 Maplewood St., Garden City, MI 48135

Over 70% of care givers are family members.  Experience is showing us that it is almost imposible to be the care giver and the son, daughter or spouse. In many families the care giving falls on one person primarily and 30 to 50% of care givers die before the person with dementia.  Learn how to relieve the stress the care giver experiences and how to use outside help to improve the quality of life for the person with dementia and the care giver.
